Artist's statement:
"I was born in Kingston, Ontario (Canada). Coming from a family of military engineers, I have found that discipline and problem-solving, surprisingly, advantage my creative work process. My preferred method is to work from life - with the person, object or scene before me - for the immediacy. I like to work fast. If the concentration is strong and sustained, the art work is true.
Whatever subject I am exploring, my goal is to go deep to extract the universal aspect of its nature at that specific time in its existence."
